BLESS
Bless is the name that Desirée Heiss ( Freiburg D 1971 ) and Ines Kaag (Fürth D 1970 ) chose to name the project that names different fashion, design and art products, which could be described as unusual and particolar. These products would like to satisfy the needs of the business’s world as well as the collobarotion’s and the every day’s ones, but go beyond the archetipi and of the existing agreements. Bless was founded in 1993 and works in Paris and Berlin, where D. Heiss and I Kaag work. In 1999 Bless presents its first product with a campaign on the magazines I-D, Self Service and Purple: a recycled fur wig (Bless No 0). This wig, used in the same year as an accessory in the Stockman Collection, today is legendary, of the Martin Margiela’s Maison, and assures Bless of a wide international feed back. This same wig, helped to start the relationship between Bless and the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum who immediately bought one. Ten years later, with a very good timing, the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum displays a retrospective show just when an important Bless show is exhibited (Artimo almost surely takes care of its publication).
