Alp Vase 505
Drawing inspiration from the Roman Antique Vases, the alp vase comes in 5 parts to allow the user to form 6 different vases.
When designing the alp vase, Annick was interested in giving the user the possibility to play and create their own ideal vase.
The base holds the water, the middle part allows to have 2 different heights and the 3 top parts have each a different diameter, which allows the user to have all kind of flower arrangements.
Originally made with a 3D printer using recycled plastic Annick has now collaborated with an Italian marble company based in Carrara, to produce the vases in marble. She also wanted to bring a warmer feel with using solid turned Ash made
by an artisan in the UK. Playing with the Carrara and Marquina marble and the Ash wood brings different finishes, colours and textures to the vase.
