Cafè 6116 dining table
Cafè 6116 dining table takes inspiration and is made from Persian carpets. Dutch Masters like Ferdinand Bol and Rembrandt already captured them in 17th century portraits of the aristocrats. In the early 20th century, Persian carpets appeared in average households on top of tables.
Carpets are processed into table tops with a super smooth surface. Scars, which remain in sight after processing, are the evidence of their former function.
This dining table has a slender frame that carries the table top as if it is feathery light. The frame is magnificent in its simplicity and beautifully combines with the table top.
