The Crisis Table is an original design by Piet Hein Eek. Entirely made of plywood, this table has a muted grey lacquer finish, giving the piece an understated and elegant look.
The collection owes its name to the first crisis Piet experienced as an established company, which lasted from 2001 until 2002. Luckily, everything turned out to be fine. To celebrate, the company bought a computer-operated milling cutter. The first products the designer made with this machine was the Crisis furniture range.
