Halka No. 83
Halka No. 83 is a one-of-a-kind ceramic artwork by Mesut Öztürk.
Launched in 2019 with a first series of 51 vases, the Halka Collection is still growing. It features unique handmade vases inspired by prehistoric artifacts of Mediterranean, Anatolian and Mesopotamian civilizations. Abstract archaic forms combine with pastel colors inspired by everyday life. As a result, the timeless beauty of ancient objects meets the contemporary design language.
In opposition with mass production methods, Mesut Öztürk works with slow production processes. Created with the traditional coiling technique, each vase shows the imperfect beauty of handmade artworks. Uniqueness is a core value; therefore, there are no repetitions. Every vase has a specific number on the bottom to indicate its original design.
Decorative purpose only. Do not use with water. Clean with a damp cloth
