Matrix is an homage to copper. This metal has always fascinated alchemists for its extraordinary color and delightful reflections. These characteristics are amplified by the refined working on the flat surface of the hemisphere. A very fine engraving reveals a remarkable technical mastery.
“Heavenly Memories” is a collection that includes four unique works, four points of view on metal. These sculptural pieces are perfect examples of Alessandro Rametta’s dialogue on the relationship between mankind, matter and technique. The Master of Arts and Crafts Alessandro Rametta forges objects made of steel, copper, bronze and brass. Experimenting with different processing methods, he reinterprets the old while adopting a modern approach.
