Talos
In Greek mythology Talos is a bronze giant; an invulnerable guardian who is ready to throw himself into the fire to defend the island of Crete. Concentric melted decorations, which form the neck of the vase, embellish this artwork. Embossed and engraved, the body follows the natural fluidity of the krater. On the inside, the reflective concavity resembles igneous depths.
“Heavenly Memories” is a collection that includes four unique works, four points of view on metal. These sculptural pieces are perfect examples of Alessandro Rametta’s dialogue on the relationship between mankind, matter and technique. The Master of Arts and Crafts Alessandro Rametta forges objects made of steel, copper, bronze and brass. Experimenting with different processing methods, he reinterprets the old while adopting a modern approach.
Each artwork can be reproduced in a limited series of 9 copies. Signed, numbered and certified.
