Iacopetti’s practice sets out from the belief that design is a holistic and speculative medium. To think in systems and place materials at the centre of the process, celebrating the relations hip between matter and provenience. Her interest lies in playing with archetypes and symbolic meanings, as an antidote in this age of crisis. The research originated from her experience in working in Venini glass-blowing factory in Murano.
Annalisa Iacopetti is an Italian designer who just graduated from Central Saint Martins in London in MA Design (Furniture). During her studies, she won the Grand Prix LVMH Scholarship 2020/21 and got shortlisted in Maison/0 Green Trail Award.
