My ceramics are an expression of my imagination and inspiration, I integrate nature, everyday objects, and personal experiences in the pieces I make. I create without the aim of realistic representation, I let go of rules trying to keep intact the initial intention, resulting in a playful, surrealistic imaginary world.

Michela Castagnaro was born in Italy, now is based in the Netherlands, where her studio is based.
