Fiedler O Mastrangelo
Fiedler O Mastrangelo is an artistic duo. The “O” at the center represents the heart of their collaboration – A circle ready to evolve on multiple levels. Together, they seek a balance between form and content, between aesthetics and expression. Nicolas Fiedler, an Italian-Brazilian artist and designer, began his in-depth exploration at a young age, delving into the significance of nature’s forms and creations, particularly while living and growing in the Brazilian Atlantic jungle. This long-standing inquiry shapes his approach to sculpture. Giulia Mastrangelo, an Italian artist, honed her skills at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (NABA) and further developed her knowledge with a Master’s degree in “History of the Arts and Conservation of Artistic Heritage” at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Giulia uses her knowledge to create concepts based on linguistic contrasts and connections. These serve the artist to reason and expand meanings. Fiedler and Mastrangelo’s union represents a fusion of form and concept, blending Fiedler’s precise geometric shapes and Mastrangelo’s conceptual explorations. Their collaboration exemplifies the intersection of structural integrity and poetic inquiry.
