Cengiz Hartmann

Cengiz Hartmann is a german artist focussing to reduce objects to the essential without eliminating the poetry. The word Begreifen serves as a key to his work. It means both to touch and to understand – in a way thinking with the hands. Since 2019 he has been working as a research assistant in the department of interior design at the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Detmold. He is a member of the association of artists, architects, designers and idustrials (Deutscher Werkbund) and the
artist guild (Lippischer Künstlerbund). Cengiz Hartmann exhibits his work with galleries and at fairs internationally and works directly with private clients on commissions.
