Annalisa Iacopetti is an Italian designer who recently graduated from Central Saint Martins in London in MA Design (Furniture). During her studies, she won the prestigious LVMH x UAL Grand Prix Scholarship 2020/21 and got shortlisted in the Maison/0 Green Trail Award. Iacopetti’s practice sets out from the belief that design is a holistic and systemic medium. With a focus on contextual research, she places materials at the center of the process, celebrating the relationship between matter and provenience. Her interest lies in playing with materials and archetypes to generate new creative directions. The research originated from Iacopetti’s experience working at the iconic glass-blowing factory Venini in Murano.
Annalisa was awarded with a special mention in Ro Plastic Prize 2021, in the category Responsible Innovation Projects with her work SOLVE ET COAGULA.
