Broken Table

Broken Table is a part of Meteorite collection by Von Pelt Atelier. This young meteorite has a beautiful rounded body; its soft pyramidal structure is almost perfect. To have such depth of colour in the crystal is unusual at that age.

The fascination with nature has always been a recurring theme in Von Pelt’s design process. The atelier’s goal is to create “nature better than nature”, to create the impossible. To achieve this goal, designers spent a long time consulting with craftsmen and technicians on how to create the perfect geode.
