Clone Chair

The Clone Chair is based on a Queen Anne chair from the collection of the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The antique chair has been sampled, digitized and recreated in plywood. This piece maintains an appreciation for the form and the formality of the original. At the same time, it has turned into something that is more about the idea of possibility.
