Merletto su Tavola

Merletto su Tavola is a unique table. Its antique wooden frame combines with a handmade mosaic surface. Numerous shades of white in the marble and the stone recall the passage of time on old lace. The irregular wave-shaped mosaic reproduces the silkiness of the fabric, as if the lace was sitting on the table. The unevenness of the tiles also evokes the roughness of the lace surface.
The designer’s concept consists in the interpretation of various materials using exclusively marble and rocks, trying to surprise at the touch and look of the surface rendered in the work. Handmade in Italy.
