Parhelia

atelier oï’s own, private collection — atelier oï PRIVÉ — is composed of limited-edition artwork collections born from collaborations with a selection of international craftspeople. The collections explore different materials, savoir-faire and craftsmanship and exemplify our very personal vision. Parhelia represent the explorative process and character of the studio’s work. These pieces share a process whereby the liquid glass, while molten, is allowed to collapse in on itself. The resulting glass piece has been cut, arranged and illuminated to create different artworks — the cuts profoundly changing the shape of each work, and how they interact with the candle light.
