Reconstruction vase medium

The project “Ricostruzione” (Reconstruction) emerged from the intention to create new subjects by repurposing these tools—the plaster moulds I had made—which had shaped part of my artistic journey. Ricostruzione deliberately employs simple, “humble” materials to allow the form itself to convey poetic potential. Each piece is handmade, as are the metal wire structures that define their shapes. The individual majolica elements, knotted one by one and attached to the structure, evoke the steps taken to forge a path. The empty spaces left behind do not signify absence but rather the possibility of adding missing pieces to complete the work.
