Tugo – Tapestry

Tapestry realized for Ro Masters exhibition curated by Rossana Orlandi with unique and unpublished works created exclusively for a project that aims to demonstrate that the use and reuse of plastic can be part of the solution of a concrete and actual problem. Among the international names on show also Jaime Hayon with the tapestry made by the Manifattura Bonotto.

Jacquard tapestry, which required over 100 hours of production, was worked by the special frames of Giovanni Bonotto’s Fabbrica Lenta with the green fabric by definition: Bonotto Gardening, a recycled polyester yarn made from recycled plastic obtained from use bottles that expresses the heritage of Bonotto in terms of style, innovation and craftsmanship.
