Made of metal with a walnut veneer, the Sculpt Veneer Cupboard is an imposing piece by Maarten Baas. Its surface texture is charmingly wonky, like its form.

The Sculpt Collection includes pieces of furniture based on quick sketches, which are enlarged to a monumental size. Baas has decided to leave them rough, producing a highly original and very expressive work.
