Someone’s Window – Villa Jeanneret

Someone’s Window is a project about respect.

It all started from the artist’s humble wish to look through the perspective of the master of the room and share it with the viewer. The subjects whose perspective Heewon chooses to capture come from various backgrounds; but they are all respectable people in their own right. His works display the views from the windows of the rooms in which these people spent most of their time in. These particular views create a mood, an atmosphere, an environment where viewers can experience the same desires of these individuals. Like a Trompe-l’oeil, Someone’s Window transports you to a different place and time and transforms the viewer’s disposition and frame of mind.
