Split Desk Table

Germans Ermičs was born in Riga, Latvia and has maintained his design studio in Amsterdam since 2014. His recent works are refined and ethereal pieces of glass furniture and immersive installations, wielding light, space, and color to catalyze a shift in how we perceive objects.

With the utilitarian function and omnipresence of glass in our daily lives, we rarely notice its impact on us and its poetic potential. In Ermičs’s designs with his Split Desk Table, glass becomes the stage for exquisite color treatments and experiences; soft and frosted to blur the edges of form, ombré, to gently draw your eye across the surface, or mirrored, to reflect and stimulate the space you occupy.
