The design presents a patchwork-like collage of designs and techniques that represents a worthy remix of the production techniques Calle Henzel has created over the past twenty years. In addition to wool and silk, the carpet introduces new materials that enrich the catalogue and language of Henzel Studio, namely linen and nettle.
The design has been configured as a runner and can be proposed within the confines of narrow spaces. Calle Henzel’s organic and artistic process has been the driving force behind the development of Henzel Studio’s designs. Over the years, he has challenged uncompromising fashion by going beyond the traditional conventions of material, form, finish and special treatments in research that includes vintage treatments, intricate surface compositions and even natural erosion – methodologies that further blur the distinction between art and design.
