Gangrene with breakfast

Leonard is exploring the tension between the opaque of the ceramic overlaid with the transparency of resin.  Manipulating the resin to challenge the body of the work. Leonard’s ceramic practice is seductive and repellent in equal parts, telling tales of personal tragedy and renewal. Infused with gory autobiographical details that can be decoded by those literate in bodily pain, yet they are equally uplifting for their vibrant materiality.
