Ascent floor light

As part of REMAINS – A floor light, made with pink onyx scraps that are faceted, arranged and ‘set’ in metal as gemstones would in a piece of jewellery. A tall piece of onyx shard is positioned with two smaller fragments in conversation, all illuminated by a luminous vertical tube. The larger shard rests in a found Giallo Sienna ‘rock’, while suspending the others in air. Colours and dimensions customisable based on found marble waste.
