The Nautilus series is born from the fusion of art, nature, and artisanal techniques, inspired by childhood memories of mosaics, floors, and fossils. Small chips of precious wood are applied and smoothed onto a hand-shaped solid wood structure. Each creation is unique, with an unrepeatable skin that is always different. Balanced shape is born from the encounter between natural materials and artisanal gestures. Handcrafted from solid laminated wood, the work is covered with a mosaic of shaped and smoothed wood fragments that create a vibrant surface. The shape, simultaneously solid and fluid, combines control and spontaneity in a balance between nature and human construction. The grain and nuances of the wood highlight a tactile and sensorial experience. The functionality of a furniture becomes a poetic and sculptural act. Golden ratio is born from the encounter between calculus and nature, following the golden ratio (1:1.618), a universal principle of harmony present in living things. On a soft wooden structure, the artist hand-applies a mosaic of shaped and smoothed wooden fragments, following the golden spiral. The alternation of light and shadow and the contrast between solidity and warmth generate a sensorial and dynamic balance, creating a dialogue between mathematics and matter, rationality and life.
