Trespuertas
Designed by Francesca Neri Antonello
A collection of three doors designed as continuous architectural elements. Not just simple closures, but rather true extensions of the wall. The project originates from an in-depth exploration of matter and its direct integration into domestic space. Materials are used in their original condition, without alteration and without any applied decorative intent. Expressiveness emerges from the matter itself, from its irregularities and the traces of process. Surfaces retain a tactile and imperfect dimension, in which elements such as bark, clay, and reclaimed inserts preserve their identity and remain clearly legible. The doors behave as autonomous elements, capable of shaping and influencing space. The project investigates the relationship between interior and exterior, between built and natural environments, introducing a material continuity that transforms spatial perception.
