Aura

Aura represents the explorative process and character of our studio’s work. These art pieces were created through a process whereby the liquid glass, while molten, is allowed to collapse into and onto itself. By treating glass as a solidified liquid, each resulting piece is truly unique.
The mechanical, dynamic lighting installation is designed to create an interplay between light and glass, which brings each work to life. Light and reflections transform the solid glass works into vibrant moving pieces – creating distinct identity, harmony and movement, akin to the natural phenomena that originally inspired them.
Aura is part of the glass artwork collection Gaïa, born from a collaboration between atelier oï and Venetian glass experts WonderGlass.
