Coral reef

Coral Reef is the latest wall installation by Vezzini & Chen, set to be launched at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week 2026. This hand-carved porcelain installation draws inspiration from the intricate forms and subtle rhythms of coral reefs. Clusters of coral-like structures are echoed in porcelain discs, each meticulously hand carved with a diverse array of patterns and textures. Every piece is shaped with sensitivity and precision, reflecting the artists’ deep connection to the underwater world as avid scuba divers. The interplay of light and shadow across the carved porcelain evokes the living pulse of underwater ecosystems—honouring their fragility while celebrating their beauty.
