The Crooked House represents a real showcase as it is almost completely transparent. Made with old chestnut wood and blown glass; the two little wooden doors feature original metalware from the 19th century and a picture. All pictures refer to architectural reconstruction processes. The four wooden columns from 1820 transform into bent legs by applying an old restoration technique, normally used for straightening damaged table legs. In this way the restoration process becomes visible.
