A delectable ceramic collection inspired by baked treats. Handcrafted relief tiles, tables, stools, and objects in playful shapes reminiscent of biscuits, donuts, and eclairs, all glazed in irresistible pastel and vibrant tones. In their first foray with ceramics, Yellowdot partners with Gorbon Ceramics, the Istanbul-based bespoke tiles factory which was founded in 1957, to celebrate the age-old craft by infusing it with whimsy and innovation. The result of this partnership is the ‘Patisserie’ collection, a contemporary line of ceramics designed by Studio Yellowdot. This collection celebrates the ingredients and the ceramics production process, drawing inspiration from clay mixing, forming to firing and glazing, while drawing parallels to the pastry kitchen. The collection features new forming techniques, unique handmade textures, and playful shapes such as donuts, biscuits, and eclairs in vibrant and soft pastel tones reminiscent of delightful treats.
