The Philips Cabinet is an original design by Piet Hein Eek. Aluminum, steel and glass all give a sleek and modern look to the cabinet.
This piece has a particular story. One day, Piet Hein Eek found an array of metal-framed doors in a junk pile in Eindhoven. Discarded by the Philips electronic company when it moved its headquarters, these doors became an inspiration for the designer. He started producing a range of metal cabinets which soon became popular; so he decided to design a line based on the original pieces.
