Plopp Stool

Created in cooperation with Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Plopp Stool is one of the designs from the HEAT collection. This series uses high temperature as a coloring method for steel. Excellent craftsmanship allows to achieve the desired tint, showing the beauty of metal without using chemical dyes and reagents. Thermal color extraction is a technique that embodies the search for natural emotions and beauty in the design process.

All objects from Oskar Zieta explore the natural beauty of deformation. Several pieces are born from experiments on shaping steel with compressed air. The matter of steel itself and the nobility of materials the designer works with lead him to a bottom-up design process.
