As part of RoCollectible 2026, during Milan Design Week 2026, the Galleria Rossana Orlandi will host the launch of Symbiosi, the technological door born from the collaboration between Hyletech5 Holding and Stefano Boeri Interiors. An innovative device that forms part of the HYLEtech project, a system of integrated technologies applied to architecture and interior design. More than the result of formal and stylistic research, the project emerges as the manifestation of a technological system: an operational field in which traditionally distinct elements — the wall, the door, the furnishings, the light — are reimagined as interconnected components of a single spatial organism. In this sense, the door is conceived as an archetype: a demonstrative tool capable of making the HYLEtech system visible and legible. Within this new context, architecture sheds the typological rigidity of its elements to take on a continuous and adaptive nature; thresholds are redefined and hierarchies transformed: the wall becomes a piece of furniture, which in turn becomes a passageway; the door becomes light until it disappears into the overall design. Each component is transformed to become part of a new unity, in which functions, spaces and furnishings connect and interact, becoming an architecture that furnishes.
