The Conversation We Never Had – Conversational Table “integrated configuration”
Two forms incline toward one another, almost touching, almost speaking. Suspended between dialogue and silence, they evoke a conversation that never occurred, yet never disappeared. Both seats emerge directly from the table’s structure, forming a continuous sculptural gesture where bodies and object become inseparable. Crafted in resin and woven by hand, the work exists between architecture and intimacy. The juxtaposition of synthetic permanence and organic weaving mirrors emotional duality: fragility and resistance, loss and reconciliation. Still bound by the cord of La Volupté, the piece suggests that connection persists even when words fail. With both chairs anchored to the table, the encounter becomes contained — a suspended moment of proximity, as if the conversation itself had been crystallized into form. The table becomes both sculpture and relational object, holding the quiet gravity that draws two presences together. It holds tension quietly. For now.
