Watershed

A sculptural topographic wall map crafted from layered ALPI wood veneer, representing Cortina and the Alpine regions stretching across Bolzano and Friuli. Its outer edge does not follow a rectangular frame, but an organic contour defined by the watershed lines that shape the territory through its hydrological boundaries. Valleys and peaks emerge through two contrasting tones, created by the alternation of only two different ALPI veneers, revealing the landscape as a refined composition of depth, elevation, and color.
