Galleria Rossana Orlandi is pleased to announce its participation in the prestigious summer edition of NOMAD, which will be held from July 4 to 6, 2024, at the evocative Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri. The exhibition, titled “UNBOXING,” will be hosted in the historic vaults of the 14th Century Monumental Monastery, providing a unique and fascinating setting for a carefully curated selection of mainly Italian works and projects.
The title “UNBOXING” evokes the idea of unveiling, discovering the new, and appreciating the unexpected. Each displayed work has been chosen for its ability to surprise and tell a story. For example, Vanessa Semaino’s ceramic Moor’s heads, artistically and contemporarily reinterpreted, are simply placed on top of the transport boxes, thus embodying the spirit of movement and temporality. These elements invite visitors to seize the moment and immerse themselves in the ephemeral beauty of collectible design and art.
