Mosaiced Thonet Bench

The Mosaiced Thonet bench is part of the Mosaiced furniture collection. This collection finds inspiration in the mosaiced floors constructed during the Romanesque period. Nowadays, those treasures are often located underwater as the water level rose during the centuries.

Thonet chairs were transformed into a bench; the original sittings have been replaced with transparent plexiglass and colored tiles, which are immersed in resin. The touch of lightness is amplified and renewed by the colourful transparencies.
