Bonsai table

Nature is the main source of inspiration in our work. We are captivated by the power of Nature in all its forms and sizes. Bonsai captures the energy of a large tree in a small pot. Bonsai is inspired by the remarkable tree, planted in a shallow container and shaped as it grows. The way we create Bonsai follows a similar process, shaping it as it “grows.” The base recalls the shape of two pebbles balancing one on top of the other. Sculpted from two pieces of solid brass, they provide weight and stability to the piece, both physically and spiritually. The brass trunk is bent and shaped to create the fluid curves often seen in Bonsai. The glass and ceramic buds are hand-carved with a mixture of textures inspired by leaves and flowers. Through the Bonsai collection, we hope our work brings a sense of tranquillity and peace to the space, while fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.
