Johnny is an interesting sofa, part of the “Stop Making Sense!” collection by WhiteNoiseDADA. This collection results from the collaboration between Klaas Kuiken and Charley Reijnders. It takes inspiration from Dadaism and Punk aesthetics. The working methods of the designers reflect the absurd, provocative character and attitude of these movements. The collection is an associative, humorous wandering journey, devoid of content and with one big statement. Irritating, incomprehensible and very relevant. Plastic junk, deepthroating, arsonist, capitalism, yellowed food, white doushbags, dirty mattresses, consumer society. Stop Making Sense!
