The SYMBIONT mirror is a hanging object inspired by traditional round mirrors in a frame
depicting the sun’s rays. In the case of the SYMBIONT mirror, the rays are represented by carefully selected cuttings of solid oak. The solid wood is then processed and fire- burned to a dark and dramatic black color. The smoky mirror surface is in a brown-gray shade. The monumentality of the object is enhanced by the raw steel base. Each SYMBIONT mirror is unique and unrepeatable thanks to the diversity of the wooden material representing the mirror’s rays. The element is a functional and artistic object that reflects the surrounding reality in a dramatic frame.
