Punched Mesh Lamp
The Punched Mesh Lamp was developed purely based on the size of a square punching mould. Making the same lamp with a laser machine (which is normally much more efficient) would be far too expensive as the laser would have to burn in the sheet for each new hole and follow the lines of a square, millimetre for millimetre. With the punch press, a hole is made with every blow. Looking back, it was a much more beautiful idea than I had originally thought. The light from the mesh lamp falls onto the edges and illuminates not only the room but also itself.
