Cowrie Rocker – Ebonised Ash

The Cowrie Rocker is a curvilinear rocking lounger inspired by the concave lines of seashells. The sculptural form is the result of an extensive research and innovation process that bridges the handmade with the digital. Expansive lines are displayed in a perfectly proportioned, single-surface monocoque fold. The all-in-one structure is formed in bent plywood with either a walnut or a natural or ebonised ash veneer sourced from certified sustainable origins. The Cowrie Rocker is a striking piece of usable art; a contemporary and functional expression of designer Brodie Neill’s ongoing fascination with natural, organic forms.
